I am a Norwegian actor currently based in Cornwall. Since I was little I have enjoyed theatre and acting which later encouraged me to study theatre at Åsane Folkehøgskole, join the Student Radio in Bergen and take my bachelor in acting at Falmouth University. Throughout my training I have developed my techniques for body and voice. This was inspired by the techniques and methods used by Stanislavski, Lecoq, Linklater, Suzuki etc. as well as my skills for film and radio.

 

As an actor I consider myself a storyteller, and after watching The Clockwork Moth's puppetry performance of The Brothers Grimm's 'The Devil with the Three Golden Hairs' in 2015 my interest for traditional storytelling and fairy tales has grown. I am especially interested in the therapeutic effect storytelling and theatre can promote and wrote my dissertation about storytelling in children's therapy.

 

Storytelling and theatre making will be my main focus in the future. However, I am a versatile person and strive to develop in all areas within theatre and acting.
