4:48 Psychosis was Sarah Kane's final play. The play is based on Kane's excperience of depression and has no specific characters or setting.

Techniques inspired by Stanislavski and improvisation was frequently used to build the play. As the play is about mental illness it was important for us to make the play as authentic as possible in order to get the story through to the audience.
